Sumners deliver BBC’s highest rated Christmas Day special.
For the second year running Sumners have completed the full post production on the Royle Family festive special for Jellylegs/BBC.
‘The Golden Egg Cup’ achieved the highest Christmas Day ratings on any channel.
Shot on 35mm 2 perf film at the Pie Factory studios, with the addition this year of some location material shot on minicam HD – Jamie Parry worked with DOP Jeremy Hiles to create the required consistent look in the da vinci 2k grading suite for HD delivery to the BBC HD Channel.
