history
In 1992 Andy and Janet Sumner took their leave from the then broadcasting giant Granada Television and set about building their own little empire SUMNERS. The early years for SUMNERS was as a mobile edit facility, working in a variety of rooms around the country in anything from stationery cupboards to boardrooms on the cutting/bleeding edge technology that was non-linear.

Sumners is a family business run by Andy and Janet. Although Sumners is now one of the largest post production facilities outside of London, the company maintains the friendly, family atmosphere that it believes is so important for its clients.
